EASA Examination:

EASA stands for European Aviation Safety Agency. The EASA B1 and B2 licenses are certifications for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) to certify aircraft as airworthy.

The B1 license certifies the holder to perform maintenance on aircraft structure, power plant and mechanical and electrical systems, whereas the B2 license certifies the holder to perform maintenance on avionics systems. Therefore, the B1 license holder is responsible for the maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems of an aircraft, while the B2 license holder is responsible for the maintenance of avionics systems of an aircraft.
